Canton ISD Board Meeting Recognition

At the October 19, 2026, Canton ISD Board of Trustees meeting, our Board had the honor of recognizing four outstanding members of the Canton ISD family as our October Employees of the Month:

🌟 Canton Elementary School – Claudia Velazquez
🌟 Canton Intermediate School – Jaime Aranda
🌟 Canton Junior High – Terri Johnson
🌟 Canton High School – Kim Burch

The evening was also made special by two of our Canton Intermediate School fifth-grade students, who helped open the meeting. Kanon Gilcrease led the Invocation, and Lynlee Edwards led the Pledge of Allegiance.

We are incredibly proud of each of these employees and students for the positive way they represent their campuses and Canton ISD.
