Facts about 9/11 you may not know:

A total of 343 NYFD Firemen died on September 11, 2001.

Of the 343, the eldest fireman that died was FDNY First Deputy Commissioner, William M. Feehan (71), when the North Tower collapsed.

The youngest fireman that died was 22 year old, Michael F. Cammarata of FDNY where he served with Ladder Company 11.

The brave men and women gave the ultimate sacrifice to save others during this tragic event. We will Never Forget.

Facts about 9/11 you may or may not know.

8:46 am : North Tower was struck
8:50 am : First arriving unit of FDNY

Did you know that the Chief Joseph Pfeifer witnessed North Tower being struck while on another call? Thus making him the first arriving unit of FDNY minutes later at 8:50 am.
