Our 8th grade students investigated both the external and internal anatomy of a frog, making connections between frog structures and those of other vertebrates in Mrs. Taj’s science class.

Students had a range of reactions to the dissection experience—many expressed curiosity and excitement about seeing real-life anatomy, while others may felt a bit uneasy at first but grow more comfortable as they engage in the investigation.

Overall, the activity provided a memorable, hands-on opportunity to deepen their understanding of vertebrate biology.

Yesterday, one of our scholars had the exciting opportunity to be Principal for a Day!

He earned this special experience through a raffle held for families who completed our Parent Survey in March. Many prizes were awarded, and he was the lucky winner of this unforgettable role.

He truly embraced the experience, arriving at school dressed for success in a suit and tie. Throughout the day, he accompanied Mrs. Moore to meetings, walked the halls, visited classrooms, and got a behind-the-scenes look at what happens during a fire drill. When asked about his favorite part of the day, he said it was being outside during dismissal!

Who knows? Maybe one day he'll be leading a school of his own. We are so proud of the enthusiasm and leadership he showed throughout the day!

Today our hearts are overflowing with pride and gratitude as we welcomed back some of our incredible alumni who are graduating from high school! 🎓💙

Our halls were filled with smiles, excitement, and applause as current students lined the way to cheer on these remarkable graduates. Their hard work, determination, and perseverance have led them to this important milestone, and we couldn't be more proud of all they have accomplished.

As they begin their next chapters, these graduates are pursuing inspiring paths in higher education and beyond—with dreams of becoming doctors, engineers, anthropologists, military service members, and so much more. The future is bright, and we are excited to see all the amazing things they will achieve.

To our graduating Bulldogs: keep chasing your goals, embracing new opportunities, and believing in yourselves. We are cheering you on every step of the way!

🎓 SAVE THE DATE – ACA HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR ALUMNI! 🎓

We are excited to welcome back our Achieve Charter Academy alumni who are graduating from high school this year for our annual Senior Clap Out!

Our staff really enjoyed Traveling Tom’s Coffee! Thank you for serving our staff some delicious drinks!

Friday our students had a blast with our PIE A TEACHER IN THE FACE assembly. Students were able to purchase raffle tickets for a dollar and place it in the bucket of the staff member they wanted to PIE. There was a random drawing per bucket to choose the students who got to throw the whipped cream pie!

This was run by our NJHS students to raise money for UNICEF. They raised close to $600.00!!

Shoutout to the teachers and our middle school dean for putting their dignity on the line — one pie at a time.

Achieve families had a wonderful time at our STEAM & Art Show event last night! Students enjoyed participating in a variety of hands-on STEM activities, including creating coding bracelets, exploring mirror activities, and engaging in many other creative challenges that encouraged problem solving through creativity and innovation.

Families also had the opportunity to walk through the building and admire the incredible artwork created by our talented students. We wrapped up the evening with an exciting raffle and lots of fun along the way!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a memorable evening celebrating creativity, learning, and our amazing Achieve students!

Yesterday our 2nd graders went to the Michigan Firehouse Museum and Education Center! They learned how to use a fire extinguisher and all about the history of firefighting. They had a great time and learned about fire safety!!
