This evening we gather here to honor and remember a man who served his country with pride and lived his life with heart.... Timothy Michael Peters. Timbo to those who knew and loved him.

Born on December 27,1973 Tim proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1992-1996, Tim carried the title of Marine with pride, living by the words Semper Fi- always faithful- not only during his time in uniform, but throughout his entire life. Tim was the kind of man who showed strength in quiet ways- through loyalty to his family, dedication to those he loved dearly, and his willingness to lean on his faith in God.

To many, he was more than a Marine- he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dog lover and a friend. He was someone who brought laughter and light into the lives of those around him. Whether it was through his sense of humor, his quick wit, those classic “Good Grief” and “Jiminy Crickets” moments, or simply his presence- he left an impression that will not fade.

He will be remembered not just for his service, but for the way he lived- with resilience, love, kindness and a spirit that stayed with you. His legacy will continue in the lives he touched and the memories we cherish.

Today, as we present this flag, we do so with deep gratitude for Tim’s service, his sacrifice, and the lives he touched.
