πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ ATTENTION BUSINESSES! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

The We Hire Vets Campaign is looking for employers who make it a point to hire veterans!

⭐ WE HIRE VETS ⭐

Launched in 2017, β€œWe Hire Vets” is an employer recognition program developed by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) to recognize Texas employers for their commitment to hiring veterans.

Employers whose workforce is composed of at least 10% military veterans are eligible to receive a β€œWe Hire Vets” employer recognition decal to display on their storefront as well as an electronic decal to display on their website.

πŸ† Businesses that meet this qualification will also be recognized on June 12, 2026, at the Texas Conference for Employers in Eagle Pass!

Veterans bring leadership, dedication, teamwork, and valuable experience to the workplace. Let us help recognize your business for supporting those who served our country. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the passing of former Senior Officer Joseph Toro. Joseph was more than a police officer β€” he was a friend, a source of laughter, and a compassionate presence within our department and community. His kindness, infectious smile, and dedication to serving others left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
