📱 7th Graders Create Apps! 💡

After a series of tutorials on building apps step by step, our 7th graders were set free to design an app of their own. Some students used the coding blocks they’d learned, while others challenged themselves to try new programming. 💻

Here are a few snapshots of their apps on our classroom tablets! 📸 From a maze game and a soccer field to a treehouse drawing app and a Washington bass-fishing guide, their creativity really showed! 🎮⚽🎨🎣

1st period had the great idea to share their apps with each other, and 2nd period hosted an App Fair to showcase their work. 🎉 Since many projects had similar features, students taught each other what they’d learned, making both classes collaborative and fun! 🤝

📱 ¡Estudiantes de 7.º grado crean aplicaciones! 💡

Después de una serie de tutoriales para aprender a crear aplicaciones paso a paso, nuestros estudiantes de 7.º grado tuvieron la libertad de diseñar su propia aplicación. Algunos usaron los bloques de programación que habían aprendido, mientras que otros se retaron a sí mismos a probar programación nueva. 💻

¡Aquí les compartimos algunas imágenes de sus aplicaciones en las tabletas de nuestra clase! 📸 Desde un juego de laberinto y un campo de fútbol hasta una aplicación para dibujar en una casa del árbol y una guía de pesca de lobina en Washington, ¡su creatividad brilló! 🎮⚽🎨🎣

A la clase del primer período se le ocurrió la gran idea de compartir sus aplicaciones entre ellos, y la clase del segundo período organizó una feria de aplicaciones para presentar su trabajo. 🎉 Como muchos proyectos tenían funciones similares, los estudiantes se enseñaron unos a otros lo que habían aprendido, ¡lo que hizo que ambas clases fueran colaborativas y divertidas! 🤝

Join CHS senior Mackenzie Van Bogart for **Fuel Lab**, a fun, interactive evening focused on sports nutrition!

🩺 **Hands-On Learning, Future Opportunities!** 🔬🐾

Last week, Cashmere High School Sports Medicine students visited our 8th Grade STEM Highly Capable (HiCap) Academy for some hands-on learning!

Our eighth graders explored anatomy and sports medicine while learning directly from high school students. 🧡💙

We love these connections across Cashmere School District! Experiences like this give our students a glimpse of the exciting classes and opportunities waiting for them at CHS.

A big thank-you to our high school students for sharing their knowledge and inspiring our future Bulldogs! 🐾

As our students begin developing their High School and Beyond Plans this year, experiences like this help them discover new possibilities, explore their interests, and start imagining their futures.

College, apprenticeships, technical training, careers...there are so many pathways ahead, and we want our students to know that their futures are full of opportunity!

A little campus exploring, some college dining, and plenty of memories along the way. ❤️🖤
