Happy 250th!! On Thursday, June 18th, 6-7 PM, the Natrona County Library is celebrating by hosting a special class of interest related to your search for Revolutionary War ancestors! Greg Kapeles, Marcia Stroh, & MH Hennagin from the Natrona County Genealogy Society will give you an overview of sources to use in your search. They'll do this by telling you a few stories about their own Revolutionary ancestors & by sharing some of the research materials they used in their searches. Come on down to the Crawford room at the library, bring your laptops and a friend, & join us for a trip back to 1775-1783!! like & Thank you for liking & sharing this post!

We had a very busy weekend. Between , , and the Adult Book Fair we were spread all over downtown Casper this weekend. Thank you to everyone who visited with us at these wonderful events, and we can't wait to see you all again at the library.

The Natrona County Library Summer Reading Challenge started this week on June 1st. And it’s not just for kids! The goal is for everyone to read at least 20 minutes per day. Books, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers… it all counts!

Every 25 days of reading earns a prize – from f***y packs and candles to hardback bestsellers and reading totes. Plus, if you read for 75 days, you will automatically be entered into a grand prize drawing for a gift card from a local business.
