Your Cavalier teachers hard at work developing new strategies for helping our students reach their maximum potential! Today, we dug into Do Nows and Exit Tickets. Ask your child about these pieces of their learning. Game On, Level Up!

Good Morning Cavalier Families!
This message is to let you know that the PTO meeting originally planned for tomorrow, 9/15, has been rescheduled to 9/22 at 6pm due to a conflict with our athletic schedule. We hope this will help you be able to attend and become a partner with the PTO!

Good evening Cavalier Families. This is Dr. McKay with this week’s important information.

In case you didn’t see it yet, please check out the WCF band’s performance from Friday’s remembrance ceremony on the Gaston County Schools Facebook feed. They did an amazing job.

It is time for interim reports to be released this week. In practice and preparation for not printing report cards this year, we will not be printing the interims. Please be sure to check your child’s grades on Infinite Campus on Friday, 9/18. The updated grades shown on Friday are the interim grades. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s performance, please reach out to their teacher(s).

We have 2 interest meetings scheduled this week. Any student interested in being a part of the Unified Champions Club should meet with Ms. Collett at 8:00 tomorrow morning. Any student interested in Battle of the Books should plan to meet with Ms. Jordan during Cavalier Connections on Thursday, 9/17.

Athletics this week include Golf at Cherryville Country Club on Monday, 9/14; Football @ Mt. Holly Middle School on Tuesday, 9/15; and softball @ Chavis on Thursday, 9/17. The cost is $7 per person!

And remember, no school on Wednesday September 16th!

Thank you and have a great evening.
