Laramie County Community College was proud to once again partner with Microsoft and gener8tor as a host and supporter of the recent gBETA Wyoming Startup Showcase, celebrating the latest cohort of Wyoming entrepreneurs.

The gBETA Wyoming accelerator continues to create opportunities for innovators across the state, helping startups refine their ideas, connect with mentors, and prepare for future growth. Since launching in 2020, program participants have created hundreds of jobs and attracted significant investment to Wyoming communities.

We're especially excited to recognize one of our own, Concept Forge Coordinator Chris Allen, who participated in this year's cohort with his startup, SolaraPod.

Inspired by his own experience managing diabetes, Chris developed SolaraPod to help keep temperature-sensitive medications safely cooled through a portable, solar-powered solution. The technology has the potential to support individuals who rely on medications such as insulin while traveling, recreating outdoors, or navigating emergency situations.

Congratulations to Chris and all of the Spring 2026 gBETA Wyoming participants. We look forward to seeing what comes next for these innovative Wyoming startups.

Get ready to learn the science behind rollercoasters while building your very own rock 'n' roll-themed marble coaster in Rock 'n' Rollercoasters at Laramie County Community College - Laramie Campus!
