The Department of Public Safety (DPS) would like to thank the Honorable Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben for the wonderful meal and the encouraging words shared with all personnel on Thursday, May 14th. Both truly lifted spirits, and DPS is very grateful for the kindness.

Take Back Day offers a safe way to get rid of these dangers to safely dispose of any expired, unused, or unwanted prescription medications.

Take Back Day takes place tomorrow, April 25, 2026, from 10 am – 2pm at the CHC main entrance.

On Wednesday, April 16, 2026, the Choctaw Police Department hosted a training conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) dealing with victim-centered approach for multidisciplinary team (MDT) members in Indian Country.

Approximately 45 personnel from different disciplines of MDT consisting of FBI, CPD, CDC, CFS, CCAC, FVVS, AGO, and Safe Trails Task Force members were in attendance.
