Clarksburg Classroom B — Week Two

Clarksburg Classroom B had an amazing second week!

The children explored science through fun experiments with shadows, practiced making letters with play dough, and spent lots of time creating, learning, and discovering together.

Most importantly, they made new friends, shared lots of laughter, and continued building confidence in the classroom. What a wonderful week of learning and fun!

We were proud to participate in the VA-hosted National Recovery Month Resource Fair at Jackson Square!

Our new LifeBridge AmeriCorps member, Beth Allevato, and Jaden Riley from Community Services represented Central West Virginia Community Action at the event, connecting with community members and sharing information about local resources and support.

Thank you to the VA for hosting this important event and bringing together organizations and community partners dedicated to supporting recovery and strengthening our community.

Here’s a peek at what the children at Anmoore

Center have been up to this week! 🌟 They practiced gross and fine motor skills with “Jump the Log,” turtle shell hopping, scissor skills, and hand tracing.

They also practiced an important self-help skill—brushing their teeth! 🪥💙

Lincoln High School, Lincoln Middle School, and Big Elm Elementary will be closed on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, due to a water service outage.

West Milford Head Start would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to one of our wonderful parents, Briana Lawson, Easton’s mom, for taking the time to visit our classroom and read to the children about shapes! 📚🔺🔵🟨
