We have another canvassing opportunity for you in Mt. Pleasant!:
Saturday September 12, 2026 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Participants should plan to arrive 30 minutes before we start. T-shirt and stipend provided. We need 10 canvassers for each date.

We'll meet at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Parking Lot (13009 Kinsman Rd.) and will cover Kinsman & MLK to East 154th & Kinsman.

The True2U Program serves all 8th graders in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District in over 100 classrooms, thanks to the support of hundreds of volunteer mentors. Becoming a True2U mentor is an inspiring volunteer experience! As a mentor, you’re able to give back to the community, meet like-minded individuals, and share what you’ve learned along your career path with today’s 8th graders.

Mentor recruitment for the 2026/2027 school year is underway!

The True2U Mentoring Program pairs volunteer mentors with all CMSD 8th graders and supports these students as they work to better understand themselves and prepare for high school as the first step toward career readiness.
