CALLING ALL SOCCER REFEREES!

Ready to get in the game this Fall? Join us for our Referee Training Session on Sunday, August 30th at 12:00 PM (noon)! Whether you’re new to refereeing or looking to brush up on your skills, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved.

The session will include information on signing up for games, compensation, and a hands-on training session with certified referees, where you’ll learn the rules for different age levels and get practical experience on the field.

Why attend?

• Referees who attend will get first access to the game sign-up sheet

• You’ll earn $20 for attending, which will be included in your first refereeing paycheck

Come learn, get paid, and be part of the game! If you’re interested in refereeing this season, don’t miss this session!

HOMEOWNER HEALTH & SAFETY REHABILITATION PROGRAM - APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!

The Village of Clinton has been awarded grant funding through the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) to help eligible homeowners make critical health and safety improvements to their homes.

This program is intended for income-qualified homeowners who need assistance with repairs such as roof replacement, furnace replacement, water heater replacement, and ADA accessibility modifications. Eligible improvements are provided as a forgivable grant, meaning no repayment is required if you remain in your home for at least five years and meet program requirements.

Residents interested in applying can complete the application found on the Village website. Go to www.villageofclinton.org and click on the "Homeowner Rehabilitation" article under Featured News. Follow the link in the article for the application form.

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Applications will be reviewed to determine eligibility and program requirements.

Join us for Application Assistance Day on Monday, August 10, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the Village Office (119 E. Michigan Ave.). Call 517-456-7494 to schedule a one-on-one appointment. You must complete the application to the best of your ability before your scheduled appointment and bring all documents to your appointment that are listed on the application.

CLINTON VOTERS: Tomorrow, August 4, 2026, the Fire Department Millage Renewal will be on the ballot. This is a renewal request, NOT a tax increase to what you are used to paying. It maintains the current millage to fund local volunteer fire and rescue services.

Remember to vote on Tuesday, August 4!
