Thank you to Dianne Trusdle for helping us celebrate America 250 with beautiful music, and thanks to her husband Dave for his wonderful narration. 🪉🇺🇸

She will be playing her harp every Friday in September from 2-3 PM in our reading room. It's not a concert. You can browse and talk while enjoying beautiful harp music.

Our Children’s Summer Reading contest ended this week and the grand total of tickets turned in during June and July was 4,876 tickets!!!! Remember, each ticket represents 15 minutes of reading, so that means our kids who participated read over 73,000 minutes, which comes out to more than 1,200 hours!! 🕰️📚

We had a tie for the closest guess, but with a random draw to break the tie, our rock polisher went to Charlie! We’re so excited that he and his siblings get to explore and discover even after summer reading is over! 🪨🔍
