Some friendships begin with a handshake... others begin with a wagging tail. 🐾💙

Officer Rooney and K-9 Officer Axel Foley had the pleasure of visiting with Rep. Heather Boyd, and it's safe to say Axel made a lasting impression. Thank you for taking the time to spend a few moments with our team!

Want to meet Axel yourself? Stop by Collingdale's National Night Out this evening, August 4, 2026, and say hello. We can't wait to see you there!

K-9 Officer Axel Foley from the Collingdale Police Department stopped by my district office today ahead of National Night Out! 🐾

A special thank you to Officer Rooney, whose dedication helped save Collingdale taxpayers money by securing donations for Axel, his training, and his equipment.

Be sure to stop by the Borough of Collingdale 's National Night Out tonight from 5:00–8:00 p.m. to meet Axel in person! You can also support the Collingdale K-9 Program by purchasing a K-9 shirt or making a donation via Venmo to -rooney-6 (please include "K-9" in the notes).

I hope to see you there!
