Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging We help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain independent. We assist caregivers and provide Medicare advice in 8 counties. www.coaaa.org

In-home services, including PASSPORT, help seniors in central Ohio stay independent in their own homes for as long as possible. COAAA also provides older adult resources and information, including support for those on Medicare. Caregivers, seniors and professionals can ask for help or information by calling 1-800-589-7277 oe 614-645-7250.

There will be nearly 7 million LGBTQ+ individuals who are age 50-plus by the year 2030. Older adults in the LGBTQ+ community may face unique challenges, including caregiving needs, isolation, mental and physical health issues, poverty, and concerns about discrimination when seeking professional help or services.
