Bring your favorite stuffed animal to South Columbus Public Library for a checkup! Student doctors from Mercer University School of Medicine will show children how fun and easy a doctor visit can be by checking heartbeats, blood pressure, and more on their teddy bear friends. 🩺❤️

If you know Kamal, you know he has “the patience of a saint, the quiet presence of a ninja,” and somehow manages to diffuse challenging situations before anyone else even realizes there’s a problem. Whether he’s helping plan the perfect road trip, answering an unexpected question, or coming up with a creative solution, Kamal is always willing to go the extra mile.

His kindness, patience, and genuine care for customers and coworkers are just a few of the things that make him such a great librarian.

Students from Columbus State University’s Theatre and Dance program spent an afternoon at SCPL sharing scenes from their recent production of The Princess & The Pea. The children enjoyed watching the performance and had plenty of questions for the actors afterward. The students took the time to answer every one of their burning questions, making it a great afternoon of theater and conversation!
