Honoring the Class of 2026, Franklin County Children Services celebrated the more than 60 teens connected to our agency who graduated from high school this year with our own special Graduation Celebration. Joined by family, friends, and mentors, the grads received information on resources available to them after high school and several “graduation gifts” donated by the Junior League of Columbus and the FCCS Citizens Advisory Committee. Hear the inspiring message shared with the excited graduates from someone who was once in the same spot.

As the use of fentanyl and potent painkillers continue to impact Central Ohio, doctors and poison centers are seeing more deadly and near-fatal accidental exposures among children. Little hands don’t know what they are touching, but parents and adults do. FCCS and several of our child safety partners have a simple message: Lock it UP, Clean it UP, and Put it AWAY.
