⛳ Thank you for making the Creative Living Golf Classic a success!

What a fantastic day of golf, community, and support for Creative Living’s mission.

To our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, Board members, and staff, thank you for everything you did to make this year’s outing possible. Whether you were teeing it up, supporting a hole, lending a hand behind the scenes, or helping bring the entire day together, your participation made a difference.

Most importantly, the support generated through the Golf Classic helps Creative Living continue providing accessible housing, resources, and the Resident Assistant Program that empowers residents with physical disabilities to live independently and pursue their goals.

We are incredibly grateful to the many sponsors and community partners who invested in our mission and helped make the day such a success.

Resident Spotlight: Maxwell 🌟

This past Saturday, Creative Living resident Maxwell took the stage at the Aktion Club Leadership & Education Day to speak about something that has played an important role in his life: Special Olympics.

Maxwell shared the story of Special Olympics, how he first got involved, and his own experiences competing over the years in Basketball Skills, Bocce Ball, Softball, and most recently, Co****le. 🏀🥎

But Maxwell wasn't just there to share his story. He wants to spread the word about Special Olympics and encourage others to get involved, whether as an athlete, volunteer, supporter, or fan.

We're proud to see Maxwell using his voice and experiences to advocate for something he believes in and inspire others to get involved. Way to go, Maxwell! 💙🧡

☀️ Summer is made for a little adventure... and we don't mean the kind Columbus weather gave us this week! 🌧️😅

Creative Living resident Jerry hit the trail in Westerville this summer for an afternoon outdoors with the incredible volunteers from Luke5Adventures!

Experiences like this are what summer is all about: getting outside, trying something different, connecting with others, and enjoying everything our community has to offer.

A big thank you to Luke5Adventures and the volunteers who helped make this adventure possible. We love seeing opportunities that make the outdoors accessible for everyone! 💙

A fresh start and a warm welcome. 🏠💙

This past week, a new resident joined the Creative Living community! Before move-in day, our team and some incredible partners worked quickly to refresh the unit and make sure everything was ready to welcome its newest resident home.

A huge thank you to America's Floor Source for the new flooring, Kitchen Solvers of Columbus for the kitchen hardware, and our longtime painting partner Wayne Miller for once again lending his talents to Creative Living.

And a very special shoutout to our own facilities expert extraordinaire, Dave Pratt, whose hard work, coordination, and attention to detail helped bring everything together on a tight timeline. 👏

It takes a community to make a house feel like home, and we’re grateful for everyone who helped prepare this space for its next chapter.

To our newest resident, welcome to Creative Living! 🧡

Something was fishy at Creative Living! 🐟

Our Perry St. community came together today for a fish fry lunch, complete with plenty of good food, conversation, and time spent together.

A special thank you goes to the wonderful cooks who volunteered their time and talents to prepare this spread on their own. We're incredibly grateful for the people who go the extra mile to create moments like these for our residents and community. 💙

It's the everyday moments around the table that help make Creative Living more than a place to live.

Another example of how support from Max's Brigade helps us continue creating opportunities for residents to gather, connect, and enjoy experiences together.
