On August 19th, the University Area Commission voted to endorse the Our City Our Say ballot initiative seeking to establish a district voting system for Columbus' City Council.

The motion to endorse passed with 5 votes yes, 4 votes no, and 2 abstentions.

Josh is our Corresponding Secretary and an officer on the University Area Commission. When asked about his favorite part of the University District, here's what he had to say:

Our community is incredibly diverse, and serving on the University Area Commission has given me the opportunity to collaborate with students, retirees, business owners, and neighbors from all walks of life to make the neighborhood better for everyone."
