Columbus MoveOn

Columbus MoveOn This is the page formed by the Columbus Council of MoveOn active 2010-2012 and maintained by it's Coordinator. What is MoveOn™?

The MoveOn family of organizations brings real Americans back into the political process. With 5 million members across America — from carpenters to stay-at-home moms to business leaders – we work together to realize the progressive promise of our country. MoveOn is a service — a way for busy but concerned citizens to find their political voice in a system dominated by big money and big media. The

MoveOn family of organizations is made up of a couple of different pieces. MoveOn.org Civic Action, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, formerly known just as MoveOn.org, primarily focuses on education and advocacy on important national issues. MoveOn.org Political Action, a federal PAC, formerly known as MoveOn PAC, mobilizes people across the country to fight important battles in Congress and help elect candidates who reflect our values. Both organizations are entirely funded by individuals. Every member has a voice in choosing the direction for both MoveOn.org Political Action and MoveOn.org Civic Action. Using our ActionForum software, you can propose priorities and strategies. Both organizations also take the initiative to organize quick action on other timely issues that our members care about.

“Hernandez does not match the profile of the “worst of the worst” criminals that the Department of Homeland Security has promised to prioritize for removal. She is a victim of domestic violence, her lawyer said, and has no criminal record. But in President Donald Trump’s second term, the stated goal is to remove as many undocumented immigrants as possible. That has increasingly included parents of young children, who are being placed in foster care, living with relatives or even left to fend for themselves — with little or no follow-up to ensure they are safe.”

ICE accused Wendy Hernandez Reyes of leaving her child with a violent uncle, but she says her son would still be alive if officers hadn’t detained and deported her.

Wearing her signature pink headband, Rachel Accurso spoke with two children being held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center. She described the conversations as devastating.

Like many Americans, Accurso said she first became aware of the family detention center in Dilley, Texas, in January, after federal immigration agents detained the father of 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos in Minneapolis and sent them both to the remote, prisonlike facility.

In the first year of its expanded immigration crackdown, the Trump administration placed more than 2,300 children into detention with their parents, with the overwhelming majority held at Dilley, according to figures provided by court-appointed monitors. Many have been held for several weeks or months.

🚨 GLOBAL JUSTICE: The Hague Summons Donald Trump

Title: MAXIMUM GLOBAL ALERT! International Criminal Court Summons Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth, and Benjamin Netanyahu Over Alleged War Crimes in Iran and Venezuela
In an unprecedented move that has paralyzed international diplomacy, the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague has issued an official summons for President Donald Trump, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to appear for a hearing on March 21, 2026.

The charges being investigated are of extreme gravity: alleged war crimes linked to recent military offensives in Iran and controversial military actions in Venezuela. This marks the first time in history that a sitting U.S. President has been called to account before this international tribunal. While Donald Trump’s White House labels the summons an attack on U.S. sovereignty, the world watches a legal showdown that could redefine the global order and leader accountability. March 21st will be a date that changes history!

Do you believe Donald Trump and his cabinet should appear before The Hague, or should the United States ignore the ICC summons? 🏛️⚖️🌍🇺🇸🇮🇱🔥

“The White House videos, posted to its official Instagram, TikTok and X accounts, have featured jokes from popular movie, TV and gaming franchises such as “Top Gun,” “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas” and “Dragon Ball Z,” and many feature comedic visual effects and rap music soundtracks. On March 9, a day after The Post and other media organizations reported on a video showing a U.S. Tomahawk missile killing dozens of children in an Iranian elementary school, the White House posted a missile strike video backed by the rapper Nelly’s “Here Comes the Boom.””

Service members and families who lost loved ones say the Trump team’s memes and jokes trivialize combat and sacrifice. Trump aides say the backlash sends views soaring.
