A great conversation about what it takes to make Texas film-friendly.
Corpus Christi Film Commissioner Drew Mayer-Oakes, CFC, joined the Texas Travel Alliance’s What I Like About Texas podcast to share his perspective from nearly four decades of working with film commissions across the state.
Drew discusses the role film commissions play in helping productions get made, from connecting filmmakers with local resources and locations to navigating permitting and building strong relationships within the community. He also shares why Texas continues to stand out as a filming destination and a few stories from his years working across the state.
We’re proud to have that experience now working for Corpus Christi.
