We've only had 2 businesses reach out & agree to be drop off locations... We still need more! We can't make this toy drive possible without the community's help as a whole!

It's almost that time again!!!

Our 3rd annual Christmas Toy Drive! 🎁🎄🎅

We need your help to get the ball rolling!

We are looking for local businesses that are willing to help us collect donations for our annual toy drive!

We need places we can place all of the following:
1) Angel Trees: For individuals & families to pick certain children to sponsor.
2) Donation jars: To collect monetary donations so we can shop for the kids & their specific needs/wants.
3) Drop-Off Boxes: Where toys & other items can be dropped off for us to pickup at our convenience.

Last year we ended up being able to supply 115 kids from 0-17 years old with multiple presents! Help us to make that happen again!

Shout out to Jake's Paint & Body for helping us out with decal removal, paint repair, & correction on a crash truck that was donated to us! We are so pleased with how it turned out! We look forward to getting this truck on the road & responding to calls soon! 😄🚨🚒

🔥 It is officially burn permit season!!! 🔥

As stated on tn.gov:

From October 15th through May 15th, a burn permit from the Tennessee Division of Forestry (TDF) is required for debris pile fires and prescribed fires.

🚨 Why We Use Permits 🚨

The permit system is one of the key ways we use to communicate with residents about where, when, and how it is safe to burn.

Permits are issued when it is safe to burn. When it is unsafe to burn due to hazardous fire conditions, TDF implements a burn restriction and temporarily pauses the issuance of burn permits, then resumes once conditions improve.

Some counties or municipalities have their own more restrictive burning regulations that supercede TDF's burn permit program requirements, such as Morristown City.

How do you obtain a permit?

Permits are available online 7 days a week, 8 am to 11 pm Eastern and Central, depending on your location.

Permits are available via phone Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm Central, except for holidays.

TDF does experience high call volume at times, leading to long wait times, so we encourage all permit applicants to use the online system.
