🌟 Meet Our Summer Intern! 🌟

Erin recently completed her first year in the Master of Public Health program at UNMC, with a concentration in Health Promotion. During her internship, she will be supporting health campaigns, community outreach efforts, and social media initiatives that help connect our community with important public health resources.

After graduation, Erin plans to work in dental hygiene and research while exploring opportunities to further her education.

We're glad to have Erin on board and look forward to the impact she'll make this summer!

Pottawattamie County Public Health is partnering with the Council Bluffs Public Library to increase the ability of our residents to stay safe and healthy this summer.

We were able to provide sunscreen that the library staff will have available for the public to use for free while attending the library's outdoor summer programs at Bayliss and Cochran Parks.

Families can enjoy stories, hands-on activities, and action-packed performances throughout June and July. Learn more about their summer park programs on their event calendar: https://bit.ly/49SVv46

Thank you to the library for partnering with us to promote healthy outdoor activities in our community, now with sunscreen available to help keep the fun safe in the sun! 😎
