RVEMS Parents & Community Members — We Need Your Voice!

Round Valley Elementary/Middle School is seeking parents and community members who are interested in serving on our School Site Council (SSC)!

The SSC provides an important opportunity to help guide school priorities, programs, funding, and decisions that support our students and families.

Elections will be held at Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 26th.

Interested in serving, or know someone who would be a great representative? Parent and community member nominations are welcome!

There will be no afternoon transportation for the Round Valley Unified School District today, Friday, August 21st.

Please plan on picking your student up from school today.

Elementary and Middle School dismiss at 2:30 PM.
High School dismisses at 3:30 PM.

🎉🐴 WELCOME BACK, COLTS! 💙🤍

We are excited to welcome our students back to school and kick off another AMAZING year at RVEMS! We can't wait to see our students, staff, and families back on campus!

📚 First Day of School: Thursday, August 13, 2026
⏰ School Begins: 8:15 AM
🥞 Breakfast: 7:45–8:15 AM
🏫 Dismissal: 2:30 PM

When students arrive, staff will be available in the cafeteria to welcome them and help direct them to their new classrooms. We're ready to make the first day a positive and exciting start to the year!

Here's to a year of learning, growing, making memories, and achieving great things together!

We're excited to host a Native Ways of Knowing Literacy Training tomorrow from 10:00 - 3:00 in the RVEMS Multi-Purpose Room.

Community members and parents who are interested about the Round Valley Native Ways of Knowing Program and our upcoming literacy family nights are also invited to attend tomorrow
