The Coventry Police is a full-service, municipal law enforcement agency, comprised of 57 sworn police officers with a support staff of 21 civilians, whose mission is to fulfill the law enforcement needs
of the Town of Coventry. Our mission is to protect and connect with the community we serve, enhance public safety, and reduce the incidents of fear and crime. We will enforce the laws of the State of Rhode Island and the ordinances of the Town of Coventry with a commitment driven by our core values of Strength, Honor, and Integrity. As part of our mission, we are committed to establishing and maintaining proactive partnerships with residents and business owners to work together in solving problems facing our community. We are further committed to maintaining public trust by ensuring we adhere to the highest professional law enforcement standards.
