The Town, its EMA, Police, Fire, DPW, School, Parks & Recreation and Senior Center have been coordinating during this Storm.

We want to convey the following information:
• National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning Beginning 4PM Sunday.

• Warming Sites are located in town Fire Depts. and Coventry Police Dept.

..WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions possible. Total snow accumulations
between 10 and 17 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are possible and may make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening.

Attention Residents: If you are in need of salt please come by DPW today, February 11, from 900am to 200pm with one 5 gallon bucket and we will make it available. It is 1st come 1st serve until the supply is gone. As you enter DPW please follow the directions/cones that will be set up.
