This Just In: Water service has been fully restored for the affected area. Because of the outage, you may notice air in the lines or brief discoloration as service normalizes. Running your tap for a few seconds should clear it. Thank you for your patience while our Public Works team completed repairs.

A water main break has occurred. At this time, we do not have an estimated restoration time, but crews are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue and restore service.
Affected streets/businesses in the following areas:
📍 Scotties Exxon
📍 Dairy Queen
📍 Mowry St
📍 6th St
📍 Gertrude St

It's possible that more areas will be affected, but these are the streets directly impacted as of now.

We understand this disruption is inconvenient and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the repair process. Updates will be provided as they become available.

To better protect customer payment information and meet updated payment security standards, the City of Crandall is making changes to how payments are accepted starting October 1, 2026.

💧Utility Payments
❌We will no longer accept utility payments over the phone.

You may pay by:
✅Signing up for monthly auto-draft.
✅Using the automated payment line at (877) 750-1844.
✅Pay online at www.crandalltexas.com.
✅Use the utility drop box behind Brookshire Brothers.
✅Use the payment slot at the Utility Department front door at 110 S. Main St, Crandall, TX 75114.

🏗️Permit Payments
❌We will no longer accept permit payments over the phone.

Permit payments can be made:
✅ In person at 112 S. Main Street, Crandall, TX 75114.
📌An online payment portal will be available in the near future.

⚖️Court Payments
Court payments have never been accepted by phone.

Court payments can be made:
✅Online at www.crandalltexas.com.
✅ In person at the Municipal Court Building at 104 E Trunk St, Crandall, TX 75114.

All city administration offices will be closed on September 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for a mandatory city staff meeting. Please plan your payment drop-off, permit requests, trash questions, and notary inquiries accordingly.

💦 Utility payments can be made by:
- Visiting our website at https://crandalltx.municipalonlinepayments.com/crandalltx/utilities
- Drop-off at the front office door at 110 South Main Street, Crandall, TX 75114, or in the drop-off box in the Brookshire's parking lot.
- Calling the automated phone number at (877) 750-1844.
- For all other requests, such as public work requests and trash collection questions, please leave a voicemail at (972) 427-33771

📝Apply for permits online at:

- Payments can currently only be taken in person, so please come before 10 a.m. or after 1 p.m.
