The Maryland Statewide Independent Living Council (MSILC), in partnership with Centers for Independent Living across the state, is launching a Statewide Needs Assessment Survey and Community Town Halls to help shape the future of disability services, advocacy, and resource planning in Maryland.

If you are a person with a disability, family member, caregiver, or service provider, we want to hear from you! Your experiences and insights will help identify service gaps, set priorities, and influence future policy decisions.

Together, we can ensure that every voice is heard and every community is represented.

Check out the 2026 Pre-ETS Training Summer Schedule for Allegany County—designed to help students build skills, explore careers, and prepare for the future!

📅 Program Highlights:
• June: Self-Advocacy (June 24–25)
• July: Work Readiness (July 7–8)
• August:
– Job Exploration Counseling (Aug 3–4)
– Post-Secondary Education Counseling (Aug 10–11)

⏰ Sessions range from 9am–5pm depending on the program.

📌 How to Get Started:
Participants will need a referral through DORS to register.

This is a great opportunity for students to gain confidence, learn valuable skills, and take the next step toward independence!
