October 15th is “Purple Day” to bring Awareness to Domestic Violence and we are inviting everyone to “Wear Purple” to spread awareness in our community.

We wear purple to honor survivors and support the victims of domestic violence. We want to break the silence and end the stigma to remind survivors that they aren’t alone.

If you or someone you know needs support, we have resources in our community to help:

- Georgia Domestic Violence Hotline: 800-334-2836

- Forsyth County Family Haven: 770-887-1121

- Cherokee Family Violence Center: 770-479-1703
