Mrs. Tovar brings 22 years of experience in education, including four years as an assistant principal. Throughout her career, she has served students and families across multiple grade levels as both a classroom teacher and campus leader.

Her passion for supporting students, empowering teachers, and building strong relationships makes her a perfect fit for our Marvin family. Mrs. Tovar is committed to fostering a positive school culture where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.

We are excited for the leadership, experience, and heart she brings to our campus, and we cannot wait for our students, staff, and families to get to know her.

We are excited to share that former Marvin Biomedical Academy assistant principal, Yulia Cedeño, has accepted a new opportunity as Principal at Bowie Elementary in Ennis!
Mrs. Cedeño played an important role in shaping our Marvin community, and we are incredibly proud to see her continue her leadership journey. Her dedication to students, support for staff, and commitment to building meaningful relationships have left a lasting impact on our campus.

At Marvin, we celebrate growth… even if it means getting soaked! 💦😂

Students who met their MAP growth goal earned the chance to throw water balloons at Mrs. Cedeño and Mrs. Gabbard, and let’s just say they did NOT hold back!

The laughter, excitement, and smiles were absolutely worth every splash. We are so proud of our students for working hard, showing growth, and giving their best effort this year. Today was all about celebrating that success in a BIG way!

We lead with HEART, work hard, and have fun doing it. 💙🧡💚💛

Please keep in mind we are testing tomorrow May 12th and will be a closed campus.
No outside food dropped in office
No lunch visitors
We strongly recommend packing your students lunch or preparing your students to go through the Lunch line.
