Let’s use September as a month of relaxing and recharging. 🧘😌That means different things to people but for Sunrise Dallas that means connecting with each other and recharging ourselves to do change work and fight for a better future. Such as the future of Texas and our leaders


We have some event happening this month and would love volunteers and participants who want to engage in these events and actions. Please reach out if you have ideas or thoughts we should consider.

• 11AM - Maddy Ullman will be presenting on Representation in Media and Authentic Storytelling

• 12PM - Madison Noelle McNair will be presenting on Disability History and the Intersectionality of Disability

• 1PM - Jennifer Terriquez will be presenting on Caregivers and Caring for a Disabled Loved One

• 2PM - Alyx Scott will be presenting on Invisible Disabilities and Disability Advocacy in Dallas

• 2:50PM - Closing remarks by Dylan Rafaty
