On our mission to find yet another coyote with mange - we spotted a beautiful, healthy bobcat coming out of an afternoon nap.
Enjoy her beauty!

Update on Miss Courageous!!
Look at that beautiful coat coming in! No more mange for this beauty!! Yes we know she has an inured leg but coyotes adjust in the wild to accommodate their injuries. Now that she isn’t suffering from mange she can focus on surviving in a world that can be cruel to her kind.
Keep her in your thoughts!! So thankful we got the opportunity to help her!

**her feeding station has been removed but she was just checking to be sure that it is in fact still empty* LOL

Our home camera caught our resident coyotes in the front yard early this AM playing. People forget the coyotes, while different from dogs, are still in the Canidae family. They can be just as playful with each other as a couple of domesticated puppies… and it is just as cute (from a distance).
We live here on acreage with our pets and do our best to coexist with the coyote pack who visits almost nightly for water from the backyard lake and / or ponds.
We take the precautions to keep our pets safe and the coyotes seem to understand that once the sun is up we need them to move on for the day while our animals are out. It’s a somewhat non-verbal pact that we have lived by for years.
Please understand it is important for our ecosystem for us to coexist. They are only trying to survive in a constantly changing environment.

A color video of juniper visiting her old feeding station which has been removed. She looks healthy and we hope she is thriving in the wild. Today we take our camera down. Good luck Juniper. We will miss watching you visit.

I had to share!
This is last night… so one night after she received the help she needed. The home owner blessed her with a big chicken dinner to help her to recover. Can you feel her excitement when she grabbed on to that large piece of chicken?! I would bet she hasn’t had a meal like that in months! This makes me so happy that we still have people in the world who care about our wild animals. It’s up to us to help protect them!

The video showing MC arriving last night. She has receivd the help she needed to thrive.
Today was a good day!!

**yes we know her legs are bad and yes we are monitoring them. What you don’t see in this video is how active and able she is. As of right now, her best bet is to stay in the wild. **e e h
