WE CAN WIN THIS ELECTION.

But victory will not come on its own. It depends on every one of us showing up and voting in record numbers.

WE ARE NOT ALONE.

Hundreds of thousands of Michiganders stand with us in this fight, and together we have the power to shape the future.

The eyes of the nation are on Michigan. The outcome of this election will send a powerful message about the values we stand for and the direction our country will take.

TODAY is more than Election Day, it is a test of our commitment to democracy, justice, and the principles we believe in, both here at home and around the world.

History is not written by those who stay home. It is written by those who show up.

VOTE. Make your voice count. MAKE HISTORY.

The Primary Election is TODAY, Tuesday, August 4. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Vote in person, and encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to do the same. Every vote matters.

On June 22, 2026, the Arab American Political Action Committee (AAPAC) unanimously endorsed Farhat's re-election campaign, citing his effectiveness in Lansing, his leadership on key budget and policy issues, and his strong advocacy for the residents of Dearborn and northwest Detroit. The organization urged voters in the 3rd State House District to support his candidacy in the Democratic primary.

Alabas Farhat is serving his second term as the Democratic state representative for Michigan's 3rd House District, representing east and central Dearborn and portions of northwest Detroit. First elected in 2022, Farhat has quickly emerged as one of the Legislature's rising leaders and was recently recognized as the "Most Effective Democratic Legislator" in the Michigan House in a statewide poll conducted by MIRS News.

In the House, Farhat serves as Minority Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, one of the Legislature's most influential committees responsible for shaping Michigan's state budget. He also serves on the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules and the Joint Capital Outlay Subcommittee, where he helps oversee state regulations and major infrastructure investments.

Born and raised in Dearborn, Farhat graduated from Fordson High School in 2018 before earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2021.

Since taking office, Farhat has focused on strengthening Michigan's economy, expanding public health initiatives, improving public safety and investing in infrastructure. He has championed legislation creating a statewide innovation fund to support entrepreneurs and startup businesses, backed policies limiting cell phone use in classrooms to improve student learning, and secured state funding for lead service line replacement and public health infrastructure improvements in Dearborn.

Farhat is seeking re-election to the Michigan House and will appear on the Democratic primary ballot on Aug. 4, 2026. Alabas Farhat

AAPAC Endorses Qamar Lina Stamos for Genesee County 67th District Court Judge

On Monday, June 22, 2026, members of the Arab American Political Action Committee (AAPAC) voted to endorse Democratic candidate Qamar Lina Stamos for Judge of the 67th District Court, Division 4, in Genesee County, ahead of the August 4 primary election.

Stamos, an assistant prosecuting attorney with more than a decade of legal experience, has built her career on public service and the pursuit of justice. During her tenure as a prosecutor, she has handled a wide range of cases involving child abuse and neglect, misdemeanors and felonies, and has tried more than 100 cases in court.

She is seeking a seat on the bench with a commitment to ensuring that every individual who appears before the court is treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

A longtime resident of Grand Blanc Township, Stamos is a wife and mother of two sons, with her oldest attending Grand Blanc Schools. She serves on the board of the Arab American Heritage Council of Flint and has volunteered with the Boys & Girls Club of Flint. In recognition of her commitment to public service and community involvement, she was named among Oakland County’s “40 Under 40” honorees.

AAPAC members cited Stamos’ extensive courtroom experience, dedication to justice and record of community service in supporting her candidacy.

“I am incredibly honored to receive the endorsement from the Arab American Political Action Committee,” Stamos said following the endorsement. “As a first-generation Arab American attorney running for judge, this endorsement is an absolute honor and a privilege. Thank you.” Q Lina Stamos
