AAPAC Announces Endorsement Process for August 4, 2026 Primary Election

The Arab American Political Action Committee (AAPAC) will soon begin its endorsement process for candidates seeking public office in the August 4, 2026 Primary Election. AAPAC members will conduct candidate interviews and vote on endorsement recommendations for eligible candidates.

Candidates interested in receiving AAPAC's endorsement must submit a formal written request for consideration. Requests should be sent by email to:

AAPAC members will meet soon to review endorsement requests and determine which candidates will be invited for interviews and considered for endorsement.

Please note that no candidate will be considered for an interview or endorsement unless a timely and official request for endorsement has been submitted.

All endorsement requests must be submitted before Monday, June 15, 2026.

We are happy to report that the Democratic Nomination Convention convened today, April 19 in Detroit nominated THREE of the five we endorsed prior to the convention including two well known attorneys from the Arab American community Amir Makled and Shereef Akeel.

There is no place for such a hateful crime in our society. We, the Arab American community, totally condemn in strongest terms the hateful attack on our friends and neighbors in the Jewish community and their places of worship anywhere and everywhere, as we stand shoulder to shoulder against this senseless violence in our communities and neighborhoods.
