After receiving numerous applications and interviewing several candidates, the Decatur Park Board of Commissioners has selected Jim Underwood to fill the unexpired term of former longtime Commissioner, Bob Brilley. The remaining term expires in April of 2027.

Underwood brings extensive experience in public service, government leadership, construction management, and community involvement to the Decatur Park Board.

Underwood will be sworn in and seated at the Wednesday, September 2 Board Meeting.

MidState Youth Soccer League spots still open for all age groups!!!

MYSL is for kids in Kindergarten - 8th Grade.

Training days are Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays with games on Saturdays starting August 24th - October 10th.

Little Hoopsters is back!

Give your little one a head start on the court! Little Hoopsters is a fun, beginner-friendly basketball program for kids ages 3–12, where they will learn the fundamentals in a non-competitive environment!

Fall hours have begun!

Our fall hours began this week! Weekdays we will be closing an hour early, at 4pm.

But we do have one more Twilight Tuesday coming up soon! August 25 we will be open late, with $5 admission from 4-7pm (zoo grounds close at 8pm)!
