I want to make sure our District 3 residents are aware of the DeKalb Farm Fresh Mobile Market, a great resource bringing fresh, locally grown produce directly into our communities.

The mobile market will make weekly stops at several locations throughout DeKalb County, including senior centers, recreation centers, schools, and community centers.

🛒 SNAP/EBT is accepted
🥬 50% off local produce when paying with SNAP/EBT
📍 Convenient weekly locations throughout the community

I encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity to access fresh, healthy, and affordable food right in your neighborhood.

At the August 25th Board of Commissioners meeting, I had the honor of celebrating inspiration, service, and leadership within our community.

District 3 Intern Lauren Faison delivered a beautiful musical presentation, sharing a special message of encouragement with everyone in attendance.

I was also proud to present Dr. Val Littleton with a proclamation recognizing her outstanding contributions and dedicated service to our community.

It was a meaningful day filled with moments that remind me of the incredible people who continue to inspire, uplift, and make a difference in District 3 and beyond.
