🎉 CCIC's new HVAC training lab opens next week! This generous donation from Carrier is more than equipment — it's an investment in our students and the future of our community's workforce, giving them real-world skills for one of today's most in-demand careers.

Before the backpacks make it into kids' hands, they start here! 🎒

Staff from all across CCSD — including Interim Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Perry — rolled up their sleeves to help stuff nearly 2,500 backpacks with school supplies for this Saturday's Back-to-School Resource Fair from 9:00AM –12:00PM at Prairie Middle School!

CCSD families can pick up free backpacks and school supplies, plus access vaccinations, sports physicals, dental screenings, Medicaid/CHP+ enrollment help, and more community resources — all in one stop. The SECOR Mobile Food Market will also be on-site from 11:00–12:00 PM.

Supplies are free while they last, so don't wait to stop by!

Meet Julian Jones, the newest principal of Cherokee Trail High School! 🐾💙
Principal Jones has a special connection to the Cougar community. He was there when Cherokee Trail opened its doors in 2003, beginning his journey at the school as a teacher.

Now, more than two decades later, he steps into the role of principal, bringing years of experience and a deep connection to the school he helped build. Get to know Principal Jones as he shares a few fun facts, his favorite subject growing up and what he wants his students to know about him.

Year three of the Aspiring Educator Pathway is officially underway!

Last week, apprentices and mentors came together to launch another year of this innovative program designed to strengthen the educator pipeline and enhance learning opportunities for students. Today, Apprentice-Mentor pairs are making an impact in 11 schools across the district.

We can't wait to see all they accomplish this year!
