⚾️ Talk about stepping up to the plate!🧢

Students at Altitude Elementary knocked their PTCO Boosterthon fundraiser out of the park, earning pledges from all 50 states and raising more than $80,000 to support their school!

The reward? Seven staff members got wild, baseball-inspired haircuts at an all-school assembly last Thursday. Safe to say the Altitude community delivered on both fundraising and school spirit! 🎊

🎉 Congratulations to Angelique Tolbert, one of Colorado's 2026 "Governor for a Day" winners! 🌟The Sky Vista Middle School eighth grader stood out among 150+ submissions statewide for her creative video and unique perspective on leadership. Angelique's entry highlighted the qualities she'd bring to the table as Governor for a Day, with a clear, community-minded vision for serving Colorado. At school Angelique is active in student council, drama club, a selective leadership class, and National Junior Honor Society. 🏆

Soon, she'll trade her school classroom for the Governor's Office, joining Governor Polis at the State Capitol for a firsthand look at how state government delivers for Coloradans. The dates of the Tolbert Administration will be announced soon, likely in October!

Way to go, Angelique! We are so proud of you! 🩶

These weren't just any musicians - they're Willow Creek ALUMNI who turned their love of music into their own band. Once a Willow Creek Wildcat, always a Willow Creek Wildcat! 🎶 🐾
