Dear RMS Families,

This Veterans Day, our eighth-grade students will hear from guest speakers about military service and the experiences of veterans. Students will also assemble care bags for veterans living in local assisted living communities.

We hope these activities give students a chance to listen, learn, and express gratitude in a personal way. A care bag and a handwritten note can remind a veteran that their service and story matter.

If your family would like to help, we welcome donations of new, unused items:

Hygiene: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, shampoo, soap, lip balm, lotions

Clothing: New socks/fuzzy socks

Everyday comforts: Small blankets and individually packaged snacks and candy (gum), flavored drink packets

Participation is completely optional. Every student will take part in the learning and service activities, whether or not their family donates.

Please send donations to school by November 3rd. Thank you for helping our students show care and appreciation to veterans in our community.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Kitzman

This week, we are celebrating our 6th-grade special education teacher, Mrs. Allie Goley!
Mrs. Goley consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our students’ needs are being met and that we are always doing what is best for kids. She is a strong advocate for her students and works hard to ensure they feel supported, understood, and set up for success both inside and outside of the classroom.
Mrs. Goley also goes above and beyond as a mentor to both staff and students. She shares her knowledge, offers support, and isn't afraid to keep things real when it matters most. She has a special way of balancing honesty and high expectations with genuine care, compassion, and understanding for those around her.
Her dedication to our students, her willingness to support others, and her passion for helping kids succeed make her such a valuable part of our RMS family. We are lucky to have someone who cares so deeply about our students and the people she works alongside every day

Happy Principal Appreciation Day to our very own, Mr. Matt Magnafici!
Today, we celebrate a principal who leads with experience, dedication, and a genuine commitment to Reagan Middle School!

Mr. Magnafici builds meaningful relationships with both students and staff and is always willing to go the extra mile to make RMS the best it can be. Whether it’s putting in extra hours, jumping in to help keep our buildings clean and organized, or tackling the never-ending list of things that need to be done, he leads by example and is never afraid to roll up his sleeves and get to work!

With many years of experience and expertise, he brings so much knowledge and leadership to our school. There is always something happening at RMS, and we are grateful to have someone who cares so deeply about our students, staff, and school community.

Thank you, Mr. Magnafici, for all you do and for the countless ways you make a difference at Reagan Middle School! We appreciate your leadership, your hard work, and the heart you put into our school each and every day!

Happy Principal Appreciation Day! We are lucky to have you!
