Some days we carry burdens that feel too heavy. Regrets, mistakes, worries, and hurts can follow us like a shadow, making it difficult to see the hope ahead.

But God’s promise reminds us that His grace is greater than our past.

“I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.” — Isaiah 44:22

At The Salvation Army Delaware, we believe no one should have to choose between staying cool and paying the bills. That’s why our Corps Community Centers are open to the public as cooling stations, providing a safe place to escape the heat, enjoy cold water, and find relief during this week’s heatwave.

Whether you’re facing rising energy costs, spending time outdoors, or simply need a break from the extreme temperatures, our doors are open and you’re welcome here.
