Some seasons make gratitude easy. Others ask us to hold onto faith when the road feels uncertain. Yet even in the difficult moments, we can find strength in prayer, hope in God’s presence, and reasons to give thanks.

For more than 50 years, The Salvation Army Early Learning Center has been part of the lives of Wilmington families—caring for children, nurturing their potential, and helping them take those important first steps toward a bright future.

Today, some of the children who once came through our doors are parents themselves—and they’re choosing The Salvation Army to care for the next generation. ❤️

Now accepting enrollment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

Our Early Learning Center offers quality, affordable childcare in a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, play, grow and thrive. Dolly Parton was a generous supporter of The Salvation Army, performing at our 27th Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show in 2023, and giving millions of her own dollars to support families in need across the country. We will forever remember her kind heart and generous spirit.

Our prayers are with her family, friends, and all who are mourning her loss.
