Rooster Springs Elementary completed its first summer of improvements and renovations with work focused on several common areas, including the gym, cafeteria, playground, front hallways and several classrooms. Renovations to the remainder of the campus are planned for summer 2027.
Dripping Springs High School began a two-year renovation project this summer. New HVAC systems were installed in several hallways, and a portion of the campus is receiving a new roof. This fall, more than 20 classrooms in the A Wing are undergoing renovations.
The new 18+ facility near the Sycamore Springs campuses is also progressing, with site excavation underway. The foundation pad has been installed, and underground plumbing and electrical rough-ins are in progress.
Driftwood Springs High School construction continues to make strong progress, with slab-on-grade work complete and tilt-wall construction nearing completion. Interior framing and sheetrock are underway, while exterior windows, roofing and fine arts construction continue to progress. On the site, underground utilities are nearly complete and foundations for the agriculture barn are underway. Concrete paving is scheduled to begin this month.
