𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘👷🚧

Rooster Springs Elementary completed its first summer of improvements and renovations with work focused on several common areas, including the gym, cafeteria, playground, front hallways and several classrooms. Renovations to the remainder of the campus are planned for summer 2027.

Dripping Springs High School began a two-year renovation project this summer. New HVAC systems were installed in several hallways, and a portion of the campus is receiving a new roof. This fall, more than 20 classrooms in the A Wing are undergoing renovations.

The new 18+ facility near the Sycamore Springs campuses is also progressing, with site excavation underway. The foundation pad has been installed, and underground plumbing and electrical rough-ins are in progress.

Driftwood Springs High School construction continues to make strong progress, with slab-on-grade work complete and tilt-wall construction nearing completion. Interior framing and sheetrock are underway, while exterior windows, roofing and fine arts construction continue to progress. On the site, underground utilities are nearly complete and foundations for the agriculture barn are underway. Concrete paving is scheduled to begin this month.

Anvika Jain, a senior at Dripping Springs High School, was one of just two girls from more than 600 delegates selected to represent Texas this summer at American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Girls Nation in Washington, D.C.

Anvika first attended ALA Girls State, where she served as a House of Representatives Floor Leader. At Girls Nation, she was selected to serve as the White House Press Secretary.

During her time in Washington, Anvika met with American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary officials, Pentagon officials, White House officials, and Texas senators. She gained firsthand insight into the workings of government and the importance of public service.

🐾Dripping Springs High School set another school record in 2026 with more than 250 students earning 286 industry-based certifications through the school’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs!

🛠️Certifications were earned across a variety of career pathways, including animal science, biotechnology, business, communications, computer science, engineering, floral design, health science, transportation and welding.

🎓These courses and credentials help students build strong career portfolios and earn higher wages. They also provide foundational knowledge and skills critical for future jobs, giving students a competitive edge.

Following the heartbreaking passing of a varsity football player from Lake Travis High School, the Dripping Springs HS Football game scheduled for Friday, August 28, against the Cavaliers has been canceled.

Our entire athletic department, coaching staff, administration, and student-athletes extend our deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the student’s family, friends, the team, and the entire Lake Travis community during this unimaginably difficult time.

The Tigers will open the 2026 season on Friday, September 4, at Tiger Stadium against Harlan.
