Proud to see our Veteran-Owned Business Preference Ordinance pass last night!

Thank you to Erin Baldwin Day - Assembly for her co-sponsorship, and thank you to my Assembly colleagues for the robust debate, thoughtful amendments, and support. The final product is stronger because of that process.

Most importantly, thank you to the veterans who have served our country and continue investing in our community every day!

Public safety commission. Veteran preference. Housing. Land use.

Tomorrow nights agenda includes some significant items with long term impacts. Here’s a quick look at what to expect! Your thought?

Why does the proposed Public Safety Commission place limits on former law enforcement representation, but no prohibition on convicted felons or violent offenders serving on the commission?

I’m introducing amendments to add a victim seat, ensure public safety representation, and prohibit violent offenders from serving.

Public hearing is June 9th. What do you think?
