What an incredible morning and reminder to me just how special this community truly is. Watching families, friends, daycares, and neighbors walking together through town, reading a story one page at a time, laughing, exploring, and making memories—it was simply wonderful.
A heartfelt thank you to each of our amazing participating businesses for opening your doors and helping bring this StoryBook Walk to life. Your willingness to partner with the library helped turn a simple story into a community adventure, and we are so grateful.
Thank you to every child, teen, parent, grandparent, and community member who laced up their walking shoes and joined us. Seeing so many smiling faces throughout Edgeley was exactly what we hoped for. It truly takes a village to create events like this, and today was a beautiful example of what can happen when a community comes together.

And I have to share my favorite moment of the day. One young participant said: "This is the BEST library in the world!"
I don't think there could have been a sweeter compliment. Those words are really a reflection of our entire community—because this library is only as special as the people who fill it with kindness, enthusiasm, and support.
