Mission readiness just leveled up ⚙️✈️

Wing leadership gathered as the 33rd Fighter Wing officially opened its new Tier II Isochronal Inspection Section. The new facility enhances the wing’s ability to conduct critical inspections, and streamline aircraft maintenance processes.

The new section enables the completion of all Tier II corrosion inspection requirements, complex fuel cell maintenance, and allows the Isochronal section to operate with greater self-sufficiency, leading to a 20% increase in fuels maintenance capabilities.

The 33 MXS Wheel & Tire section will also be housed in the new facility, which will repurpose MXS crew chiefs and allow the 58th AMU to utilize their prior facility.
