Last week, we welcomed Gen. Adrian Spain, commander of the Air Combat Command, for a visit at the 33rd FW! He toured various workplaces and spoke to Airmen about their contributions to the overall mission. The visit highlighted the wing’s transition to Air Combat Command and reinforced mission ex*****on.

The transition to ACC will optimize the pipeline for F-35A Lightning II pilots with the goal of increasing readiness. Thank you for visiting!

Forged under pressure 💪

The 58th and 60th Aircraft Maintenance Units held the quarterly Mission Generation competition, where Airmen demonstrated the skills required to generate combat airpower participating in components such as loading weapons into F-35A Lightning II aircraft and completing a fitness portion that tested their strength and endurance under pressure.

Competitions like these reinforce the standards that ensure our Airmen remain ready to execute the mission whenever and wherever they’re called.
