Knowing your body’s warning signs is key to staying safe in the heat. 💧 Hydrate early and often, take breaks in a cool place, and don’t ignore signs that your body may be overheating.

As kids head back to school, remember they are most at risk when approaching or leaving the school bus.

🚗 Slow down when you see a school bus.
🛑 Stop when the bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended.
👀 Watch carefully for children crossing the road.

Outage Updates:

Bassett Road / Shawnee Hills Area

Our crews continue to make progress restoring power in the Bassett Road and Shawnee Hills area.

A large tree came down through a power line, and crews are making progress on necessary repairs.

Current estimated restoration time: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
