Ellinwood School/Community Library

Ellinwood School/Community Library ESCL is a combination school and public library on the east side of the high school campus.

The Ellinwood School-Community Library works to serve all of it’s patrons from birth to adult. It promotes the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, provides services like a 3D printer and Inter-Library Loan, and brings in a variety of exhibits and displays for all to enjoy.

These are the doors to come in on the West Side of the Ellinwood Grade School to use the Library. They are unlocked from 9-12 (noon) Monday through Thursday. If you have books to return and can't make it during our open hours, you can still return them to the book drop at the high school. We can also request books for you from other libraries. If you need to make arrangements to visit the library outside of our regular hours, give us a call at 620-564-2306 and we will try to help you out. Thanks for your understanding during the construction.

We found out late last week we needed to move for the HVAC construction. So with the help of our staff and the wonderful employees at Ckls, we moved what we thought we would need to the grade school for our temporary library. Here’s a little behind the scenes. We didn’t move all the books and we won’t have access to them but we should have the new books available next week.

Please read the following notice about the HVAC bond project and how it will affect the Ellinwood School/Community Library. The library will be temporarily moved to the Ellinwood Grade School Library and will have limited hours and services. Our Summer Library Program will be held at the Ellinwood Grade School Library.
