Over the last couple of weeks, students at Cave Hill School, Mountain View School, and the Ella Lewis School celebrated their completion of the eleven‑week DARE Program. Each ceremony was filled with proud families, excited students, and plenty of well‑earned smiles.

We’re incredibly proud of every student who graduated. Your hard work, participation, and commitment to making safe, healthy choices truly stand out.

A heartfelt thank‑you goes to Sgt. Rob Morang, who teaches the program at all three schools. His dedication, energy, and genuine care for the students make a lasting impact in each community. Thank you, Sgt. Morang, for everything you do.

📸 Enjoy a look at some moments from each graduation below.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Maine Warden Service Pilot Joshua Tibbetts.

Pilot Tibbetts served the people of Maine with professionalism, dedication, and courage. The loss of a member of Maine’s public safety community is felt far beyond any one agency, and our thoughts are with everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.

We also keep the entire Maine Warden Service in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, sir. Your service and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
