🍧 SNOW CONES WITH COPS! 👮‍♂️🍧

The Encinal Police Department is excited to bring back Snow Cones with Cops on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, beginning at 2:30 PM — while supplies last!

Our officers will be checking in on our elderly residents, visiting with them, discussing any needs they may have, and serving up some fresh, delicious snow cones to help beat the heat! ☀️🍧

We already have a list of homes we’ll be visiting, but if you know of an elderly resident who would enjoy a refreshing treat and some conversation with our officers, please email Chief Balboa at [email protected].

💙 It’s more than a snow cone — it’s about building relationships and taking care of our community!

The wait is over! Join us today at the Veterans Hall from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for our Back-to-School Event!

We’ll be handing out school supplies to help students get ready for a successful school year. Supplies are available while they last, so be sure to come by early!

A special thank you to the La Salle County officials for organizing this wonderful event and for their continued support of our students, families, and community.

We look forward to seeing everyone and wish all of our students a safe, fun, and successful school year!

Chief Balboa was honored to donate two pairs of shoes and socks to the Children’s Alliance of South Texas as part of the Cotulla Shoes for Smiles initiative.

Every child deserves to walk with confidence, comfort, and a smile. We are grateful for the opportunity to support this wonderful program and help make a difference in the lives of local children.
