INVITATION TO BID -- VEGETATION MANAGEMENT

Sealed bids from qualified contractors shall be accepted until August 21st at 3:00P.M. There will be a bid opening for this project, all bids will be opened and reviewed at the Village Office on, August 21st at 3:00 P.M.. The contractor awarded will be notified after review at the Village’s trustees meeting on August 25th.

Sealed BIDS shall be marked: Vegetation Management - Village of Enosburg Falls and can be dropped off or mailed to the Village office at 16 Village Dr, Enosburg Falls VT (mailing is 42 Village Dr Enosburg Falls, VT 05450) Post Marks not Accepted .

LOCATION: The Village has multiple locations within the Light Departments territory which include Enosburg Town and Bakersfield.

TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: The Village is looking for a certified tree trimming contractor to trim with in the power right of way approximately 8900’ of lines. The clearing ranges to a few danger trees to brush clearing sections. The ability and expertise to work around live power lines is a must.

CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: December 31st, 2026.

PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS: There will be an informational meeting with a ride out on August 18th at 8am. The meeting will start at 42 Village Dr, Enosburg Falls VT 05450 -- Please visit Villageofenosburgfalls.org to view the "Vegetation Management Bid Information Sheets".

The Village of Enosburg Falls is excited to recognize Isaac Snow for reaching an important milestone in his career by successfully completing the Vermont Linemen Apprenticeship Program and fulfilling all required training hours.

Achieving this goal reflects Isaac’s determination, hard work, and commitment to developing the skills necessary to safely and effectively serve our community. We are proud to congratulate him on earning his Class A Line Technician classification and look forward to his continued contributions to our electric department.

⚠️ Power Outage Notice ⚠️
Monday, July 27, 2026.

✅ Power Restoration Update – 4:00 PM

As of 4:00 PM, power has been restored to all but two customers on Duffy Hill Road.

If your power is still out, please first check your home's main breaker panel to ensure a breaker has not tripped.

If you have checked your breakers and are still without power, please contact our Dispatch Center at (802) 933-4443.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while our crews safely completed repairs.

A power outage occurred at approximately 1:45 PM due to a broken utility pole top on Duffy Hill Road.

Our crews are currently on-site and will be safely setting a new utility pole. The outage is expected to last approximately 3–4 hours while repairs are completed.

The outage is affecting customers on:
• Duffy Hill Road
• East Sheldon Road
• Upper St. Pierre Road
• Burns Road

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work safely to restore power as quickly as possible. Updates will be provided if the estimated restoration time changes.

Chevrolet Silverado 3500 – INVITATION TO BID

The Village of Enosburg Falls is accepting sealed bids for the sale of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 pickup truck. Aluminum service body bed, crew cab with 116,212 miles. There is an engine issue

The truck is SOLD AS IS with no expressed or implied warranties or representations as to its
suitability for any particular use.

The Village of Enosburg Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The truck is available
for viewing at 16 Village Dr Enosburg Falls, appointment only. Arrangements for viewing and any other inquiries regarding this truck should be directed at John Dasaro at (802) 933-4443.

All bids shall be plainly marked: “SEALED BID –SILVERADO TRUCK”. No faxed or emailed
bids will be accepted. There is no minimum bid.

Bids must be received by 3:00 PM Monday August 3rd 2026, at which time there will be a public bid opening at the Village Main Offices located at 16 Village Drive. Any bids received after that time will not be considered.

🚧 Paving Update 🚧

The Village's paving project on Main Street and Elm Street will be completed on Monday, July 20.

We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and understanding throughout the day as crews worked to complete this project. We know the traffic delays and detours were inconvenient, and we're grateful for your cooperation as we continue to improve our streets.

LOCATION: The Kendall Building is located at 42 Village Dr, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450 adjacent to Rt 108 bridge in Enosburg Falls.

TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: The Village is seeking a contractor - Work to be performed under this project includes – 1. Replacement of five historic windows to historical preservation specifications at 38” x 69”, including the disposal of old windows. 2. Build storm windows that can be used temporarily in the wintertime for energy efficiency. The window frames are an estimated 103”x57”, three of these and one 63”x44.

CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: November 30th 2026.

🚧 Road Paving Notice – Missisquoi Street, Village of Enosburg Falls 🚧
Thursday July 16th and Friday July 17th

Please be advised that paving work will be taking place on Missisquoi Street. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible to help reduce traffic delays and allow crews to work safely and efficiently.

🚨 Village Highways Opened to ATV Travel 🚨

The following Village roads are now open to ATV travel, provided all Vermont state laws, VASA requirements, and the Village's ATV Ordinance are followed.

Elm Street
Main Street
Depot Street (from Main Street to Archambault Street)
West Enosburg Road to the Village limits
Duffy Hill Road to the Village limits
Hayes Road to the Village limits
Water Tower Road (from Elm Street to the Village limits)

Please ride responsibly, obey all posted speed limits and traffic laws, and be courteous to residents, pedestrians, cyclists, and other motorists.

The Village's ATV Ordinance can be found on the Village website. All operators are responsible for complying with the ordinance in its entirety, as well as all applicable Vermont state laws and VASA requirements.
