With stormy weather in the forecast, please take a few minutes to prepare for potential power outages:
• Charge cell phones, tablets, and backup battery packs
• Make sure flashlights have fresh batteries
• Keep refrigerators and freezers closed as much as possible during outages
• Have a supply of drinking water and non-perishable food available
• Fuel vehicles and generators before the storm arrives
• Keep medications and essential medical supplies on hand
• Know how to manually open electric garage doors if needed
• Stay away from downed power lines and report them immediately
• Have a battery-powered radio available for emergency updates
• Check on elderly neighbors, family members, and anyone who may need assistance
Please use caution during the storm and report outages through the appropriate channels. Our crews will respond as quickly and safely as conditions allow.
