July is National Minority Mental Health Month. A time to raise awareness of the of the unique mental health challenges, systemic disparities, and stigmas faced by racial and ethnic minority communities in the United States.

Communities are encouraged to take control of their mental health by prioritizing healthy habits like limiting screentime, getting enough sleep, staying physically active, and reaching out for support when needed. Stigma can make it harder to ask for help, but if you’re struggling with your mental health, consider talking to a professional.
