Everett - Massachusetts Animal Control Official page of the City of Everett (MA) Animal Control Department

The Animal Control Officer (ACO) is in charge of all facets related to domesticated and wild animals throughout the city. The ACO helps identify lost / stolen or injured animals and enforces city ordinances related to animal issues. Everett Police Animal Control provides services for the following:

Assist in the Searching and Finding of Lost Animals

This adventurous girl broke free and took off from her family while on a family walk by the river front near Costco.
She has not been seen since.

She is microchipped and has a family missing her.

This very sweet well trained mama dog was picked up by Chelsea Officers today while she was dodging traffic in the busy streets.

She has no collar/ no chip

****UNCLAIMED HEADING INTO ADOPTIONS*****

This tiny guy has a complicated story we are still trying to navigate.
He is a very small, middle aged intact male with no collar no chip.

He was brought into an emergency vet as he was suffering from a medical emergency.
The residents stated he was left on their porch in the heat and they did not know who the people were.

He is doing well in the care of Everett/Chelsea ACO and is happy he is safe.

**CHELSEA FOUND***

This very sick and emaciated dog was found in the gutter on Eastern Avenue by a wonderful young woman who was driving by, and saw a struggling dog surrounded by kids trying to help it.
Thankfully the Good Samaritan wrapped her in a blanket, and called Chelsea Pd.
Everett is currently handling all Chelsea animal cases and this dog was immediately taken into custody.
At this time she is doing well and receiving care.

This tiny guy was brought into Police Headquarters this afternoon by a Good Samaritan.

He’s a un fixed male dog, and so far we have had no calls on him. He has no collar no chip.
